Different Surname on Marriage certificate and passport

Hi,

My wife changed her surname after marriage, on her passport she has new new surname while on Nikahnama/Marriage certificate she has her previous Surname. First name is same on both but surname is different.
Could this be a problem while applying for spouse visa ? if yes, any suggestion to resolve this issue.

No Problem at all. If you are applying for a spouse visa then there is a question if you have even known by a different name or you can add your previous name in the maiden name section. You can also explain this in your covering letter. This is not an issue at all.
