Going back to Ireland

Post by goingbacktoireland » Tue Dec 11, 2007 5:51 pm

I am a Non-EU national. Three years ago we left Ireland and nine months ago I got family resident permit in Austria on the basis of my daughter's being an EU child citizen,so we are leaglly resident in Austria. Now we want to go back to Ireland ,because I want my daughter to learn English as an Irish citizen. Does anybody think it is possible for us to go back to Ireland and get some kind of residence in Ireland?

Are you married to your partner? Is your partner a EU citizen? Is your partner an Irish citizen? The answers to these questions matter as the proceedings differ. Please ask again in the Ireland immigration forum and be sure to answer these questions as well.
