I quality for benefits but its a 'NO PUBLIC FUNDS' for Kids

I recently got indefinite stay visa status.

But my kids joined me latter when I first came here and thus qualify late next year. They have only been given 3 years Visa which clearly states that 'No Public Funds'

My question is; can I still apply for child benefits such as school meals. Please kindly advise as I do not want to make a mistake as am still yet finished with Home Office visa-wise.

No issue at all if you have ILR and claim.

Child Benefit (in your name only if your spouse hasn't got ILR or BC).

Tax Credits in joint names.

You can't have free school meals if you get Working Tax Credits, unless you reside in Scotland.
