Tier 2 Dependant, Main Applicant's proof of employment

Hi all.

Will be applying for a Tier 2 Visa and my partner will be applying with me at the same time. I just have a few questions.

1. Do we need to include a resignation letter in the supporting documents to prove that my partner has resigned from his job? Is it even necessary?
2. He holds a share of their family owned company. Do we need to declare that? It doesn't sound relevant though.
3. Would my CoS and Original Job Offer suffice as my proof of employment for my partner's visa application? I don't think I can get a better proof of employment since I haven't even started working for them or set foot in the UK for that matter for me to be able to secure any certificate of employment. Will it be enough?
4. Do we need to provide a proof of address? If so, in what form?
