Hello, your help on this question would be greatly appreciated.

A friend of mines is about to apply for ILR. They have the Biometric Card which shows that their Leave to Remain is for 5 years etc...

He hasn't got his original Zimbabwe passport anymore but has got a Zimbabwe Travel Document which is valid for 6 months.

Can he use that alongside his Biometric Card for proof of ID etc..

Obviously he is going to include a small explanation aswell as to why he hasn't got his original passport etc in the application.
.i think he lost to be honest.

Has he got a police report to back up his lost passport claim?

One of my friend lost his passport just a month before ILR but he managed to get ILR with the duplicate passport and police report within a month or so.
