Someone else's timeline can have little or no connection to yours. And it is or has been UK holiday time.mysteron69 wrote:My wife is now into week 12 of her application for switching from a fiancee visa to a FLR(M) cat A.
In week 7 we were asked for further evidence of our cohabitation, which we provided and which was signed for. We've heard nothing since and despite my numerous calls I am getting no information as to why there is still a delay or when a decision will be made.
Is there anything I can do to escalate this matter? We took professional advice before making the application and in each case we were told our application was straightforward in that we meet all the criteria. I asked my MP to intervene - who btw also said she couldn't understand what the delay was - but they weren't able to give her any useful info either.
I keep reading people comment's about how they've received their visa, and they applied after us. It's driving us to despair.
Any suggestions or advice on how we can move this forward?

The service standard is 8 weeks. so even though I have read on this and other forums that people who applied at the same time or after us have already got their visas, I should not be overly concerned?
