See also Holiday Travellers and Visa Denials and India Reciprocity Schedule. As long as you can show "strong ties" to the UK and sufficient funds for the holiday, you should be okay.

Can I get visa easily,
The determination as to whether your have strong enough ties to U.K. depends on the interviewing consular officer.
how long I can get the visa. will I get it for 1 yr.
You get the visa at the U.S. Consulate. DHS officers in the U.S. issue you an I-94 card specifying how long you can stay in the U.S. In my experience the usual authorized stay is up to six months.
I have heard that people get 10 yrs. visa as well.
You can get a visa that is valid for 10 years, but you can only enter the U.S. for (usually) six months at any time. If you use the visa time and again, and it looks to DHS like you are living in the U.S., they can deny you entry at a U.S. airport.
