Can dependents continue on T2 ICT when main app switches

Hi,

I have queries regarding the Tier2 dependent visas.

I am currently on Tier2 ICT visa (under rules before Apr 2011- extendable visa) and the validity is till Jan 2019. My wife and child are having the dependent visas for the same time.

My query is if I switch to Tier 2 General with a new Sponsor, can my dependents continue on their existing visas (Tier2 ICT dependents) till their validity is available?
I know this may not be correct, but thought of double checking as one of my friend has mentioned that it is possible as both visas are Tier 2.
