due to non varification from Company HSMP was refused

My HSMP case was refused due to my employer did not varify. Actually what happend I worked with them 2001 and the director of the company left/sold company. The new director did not varify when home office called them for varification. so they refused my HSMP after that I found out that its a new director. When I spoke to him and provide him copy of my experience letter he checked his old record. He said to me now he can varify after looking at old ducuments. Can I apply for HSMP again if so is it possible to get +ve result based on my old document. As previously I got 0 point on that although I claimed 85 points.
