28 Day Rule

Hello everyone,

I've searched for my answer but there seems to be conflicting information.

Can anyone clear up the 28 day rule in regards to Payslips and Bank Statements, are they not allowed to be older than 28 days from I submitted the Online application, or from when the documents are received in Sheffield?

I submitted the online application and made payment on the 22nd of this month which would mean that my bank statements and payslips are within the 28 days. Biometrics were taken on the 26th which again means within the 28days, I am planning to send the documents tomorrow which would mean that when they receive them in Sheffield my Payslip will be just a tad older than 28 days.

Would appreciate if someone could provide clarity.

It's 28 days from when the application was paid for.
