Email reminder from Home Office

Dear members,

I just received an email reminder from Home office (template email) stating that my visa will be expiring soon and I should either extend my visa or leave soon. This is a good initiate from Home office reminding the applicants.

Just checking is this all applicant receive before applying?

I submitted my application 2 days before finish my visa but i did not get any email OR letter from HO for any reminder.
