Tier 2 Dependent visa - Work start date

Hi,

I'm applying for dependent visa for my wife and my daughter. I'm filling up the online application form and got a doubt on the work start date. Could someone please help on clarifying this.

1. What is the start date of the job?
In my COS, the start date is mentioned as 05 Jan 2016, but my actual start date with my employer is 22nd Mar 2016. Which date i have to mention here?

2. Regarding maintenance fund requirement, I have 3 month bank statement with enough funds. Only the statement is sufficient Or I should also get a letter from the bank stating the balance has been maintained for 90 days?

Hi VPR_Pandian

I have a colleague for whom a T2G dependant visa was granted last week. In her spouse's application, they had the date on which she started working in UK for that field. She travelled a few days after her visa start date and so she added the date on which she started working.
