Tier 2 ICT Long term leave to Remain to Tier 2 General

Hi ,

I came to UK in March 2011 under Tier 2 Established staff category and since then I am in UK and currently I am under Tier 2 ICT - Long term leave to remain.

My question is -

Am I eligible to switch to Tier 2 General Visa and change jobs?

If I quit my current Job , do i need to go back to India and apply for Tier 2 General or I can switch within UK?

Could some one advise?

This question is well covered in the forum if you had the time to search.
Yes, you can switch to Tier 2 G.
If you move out of the UK, you will need to serve a 12 month cool off period before you re-apply
