Withdraw in Appeal and Dependants

I have a question hope many of you know the answer
A tier 4 student (him being main appellant) with 3 dependants withdraws his appeal with upper tribunal just before he completes his 10 years to apply for ILR(LR), question is, withdrawing in appeal would mean all people including 3 dependants are withdrawing automatically ? or it would be him only is taken off the appeal?

no specific request to the tribunal that he or all are withdrawing, making a request to withdraw in appeal in general would it mean all or just him ?
