Postal to Priority Postal OR Premium - TIER 2 ICT extension

Hi All,

4 weeks back I made application within UK for extension (same employer) under Tier 2 ICT
Below are the key dates
15/09 posted the application
16/09 Reached home office
27/09 Received BRP letter
28/09 completed BRP

its almost 4 weeks since I made the application last time in 2014 after biometrics within a week I got my passport and BRP, as I am planning to go to India for Diwali just wondering whether I can now upgrade my application to priority postal or premium, any advice please?

The 8 weeks timeline is observed to be followed strictly for standard applications.
The upgrade to postal priority also adheres to 10 working days . however keep at least 5 days as buffer for BRP receipt. Prioritypostalrequests@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk was the address for the upgrade when i used the service.

Thanks for the reply, my case is Tier 2 ICT extension with same employer, is upgrade facility applicable for my scenario ? online I read that it is only applicable to people applying for ILR, please advice.

Hi,

I made my tier 2 extension application on 30th July, biometrics was done on 08th Aug. Its been 12th week now, but no response received yet. I am so worried. Is there any possibility for me to apply to them for making faster decision?

Hi, you can actually call home office and check status as it already went past the SLA.
BTW Which category in Tier 2 you applied for extension ICT or General?
