ICT tier 2 long term - early termination

Hi,

I am on ICT tier 2 long term visa which is valid till October 2017. I want to know how long i can stay if the current employer want to terminate the work assignment early, say by November 2016. Please suggest if i can switch to other companies.

Once your employer terminates you, they are obliged to report the same to UKVI within 10 days.
HO sends a letter to the employee curtailing your visa to 60 days(from the date specified on the letter). HO usually take their own sweet time to do this.

Please see rules on switching employers below. Unless you have a Tier 2 ICT issued before April 2011 it is almost impossible to switch
