Hi Forum,

My timelines so far:

Applied at Pune VFS: 19th December
Received Integra call: Wednesday, 26th Dec 07.
Status says: Your visa application has been forwarded to the British High Commission 19 Dec 2007.

integra verification was also done .. so you may recieve your visa in just couple of days.

I have a question .. how did you show proof of funnds?

HI GMR,

From the other posts on the forum I can see that it takes around 2 weeks after Integra verification to get the EC, I am just hoping something happens by Mid Jan, so I can plan my trip better.

To answer your question, I showed the following heads for proof of funds:

1) Bank savings account ( not the one which I use for home loan)
2) PPF
3) EPF
4) NSC+FD+KVP ( all government securities)

Also, I took a CA certificate to summarize all the mentioned assets.

BHC called my employer today. The representative said that she is calling from BHC (not Integra Screen). Is this same as Integra check or should I expect another call?

Hi cdraina,

Its the same Integra who say that they are calling from BHC. You can expect only this verification call. I dont think BHC will call again. Same thing happened with me too.

I had applied on 19th Dec and I got a job offeer from UK company which I need to join on 7th Jan 2008.I have attached the offer letter + sponsership letter from the company .Integra varification is done on Monday 24 Dec 2007 with current and previous employer as they have recive a call from Integra.

I am really worry now that I whether i will be blessed with EC by 6th Jan because I might loose my job if not reported by 7th Jan.

Can you tell from which CA did you got the certificate from in Pune. How much did he charged ?

Also, did you showed anything regarding the job in the UK (say job postings, mail conversations with consultants etc) ?

Please comment.

Intergra call : No Idea.
Status : Your visa application has been forwarded to the British High Commission 20 Dec 2007

My current company is under yearly shutdown, ie last week of December.
I have stated the same in covering letter.
I have also provided Visiting cards of Mine, HR with all contact numbers.

Have anybody ever faced this situation?
I sent my EC application
on VFS Ahmedabad - 5 dec
Initial integra verification - GOD KNOWS??
BHC status - 28 dec - Got integra verification and office will make decision
BHC Status - 31 dec - send for reverification!!

please share your experience as I am worried bit now after 15 working days.

Applied at Chennai VFS on 17th december
Integra called me for employment id no, as it was missing in their form on 21st
status says its forwarded to BHC ON 17TH...

gRR..One thing for sure is,there's no other means of tracking our passports..and these Vfs guys dont understand the anxiety of us..even if we call,they say the same status by seeing their website...pity that it was pretty long holidays for all of them to enjoy..while we wait here with fingers crossed!!!

From this mail,its very much obvious that even if integra verification is over,they are taking pretty long time to send the verification reportto BHC .I got my integra call on 21st december and when i sent email today regarding the status to BHC,i got this reply-

Thank you for your e-mail.

You may wish to note that we are awaiting your verification report from
Integra. A decision will be made on receiving the same.

yes..thats the mail id for bombay and pune applicants..but they reply you pretty fast than u expect.

Hi guys,

This is what the VFS website says about my EC application:

"Your application is ready for collection; please visit the UK Visa Application Centre where you submitted your visa application to collect the same 04 Jan 2008"

In case of approvals I have seen that the website says "PASSPORT" not "APPLICATION"....I think I am just imagining things in this pessimistic drive.

Damnnn! I didn't see it earlier in the day else could have collected my passport from VFS. Now will have to wait over the weekend to know what my destiny!!!
