Schengen application with less than 3 months on BRP

My wife’s 3 month Schengen visa expires on 25th Nov.

Her BRP expires on 1st March and we intend to renew the BRP via the premium service and expect the new BRP to be available around mid-Feb.

We’d like to go away around Feb 18th for a week – is it possible to apply for a Schengen visa using the existing BRP and travel with the new BRP?

Any advice on the best way to proceed, very much appreciated.

Hi! Your wife's BRP must be valid for at least 90 days after the planned date of return from the Schengen area. It means that her current BRP will not be accepted when applying for the Schengen visa for the trip in February.

Get in touch with the Belgian Consulate, they may accept the application without the UK visa being valid for 6 months -

First of all i would want to know if the belgiun consulate was of any help. Because i am in a similiar situation and trying to find a way out

I am planning to travel to schengen in mid December for a week and then i fly to india. I have no plans to return to uk. My brp ends on 22nd jan. So i was thinking if i show them that i am not returning to UK will that be helpful.

I need an urgent advise on this because i want to book my tickets which are already touching skies.

Will really appreciate a response.
