UK Wife Settlement Visa - No IHS Fees?

Hello Gurus,

I just completed my wife's settlement visa application and when I filled in the IHS Payment section, it said I need not pay anything for NHS please?

FYI, I got my PR via Tier 2 ICT 5 years visa route.

Could you please let me know if this correct or some glitch in the system and I have to check with the UKVisa authorities ?

If applying from abroad, she has to pay £600. If applying within the UK, she has to pay £500.

Have you put ICT visa anywhere in the form? Are you completing VAF4A or FLR(M) for the visa??

Yes, I mentioned the ICT visa while i was filling in details in the IHS section of the form. which asked in which route i got the PR.

Below is the extract from the final filled in application form.

DATE OF APPLICATION: 02/11/2016
TYPE OF VISA: Settlement
PURPOSE OF APPLICATION: Settlement
TYPE OF APPLICATION: Wife
TOTAL FEE: INR 101575.00

Can you let me know if there is a way to find out why it said I dont have to pay anything please for IHS?

Or call UKBA helpdesk tomorrow ? or should i call the VFS helpdesk number please?

Because you put ICT in the form. ICT visa holders are exempt from IHS but this does not apply to your spouse.

She must apply ALONE and not put in your details.

Register a new account on IHS portal and try again.

Hi,

I had called the UKBA customer care and they said I had to cancel the application and create a new one.
They said, apply for refund and then create a new application.
Which I have done now but it didn't make sense as there should be some other option to pay the amount.

Also got to know an important thing while filling the IHS form that, we should not select the option to JOIN Family but instead select the option which says COMING ALONE.
