Letter of employment for schengen tourist visa (please help)

Hi all,

My wife is applying for a tourish schengen visa but unsure about letter employment.

She's working for a limited company which I own (I'm a director of the company).

So can I just simply write a letter of employment by myself?

Hi, yes, as the company director and your wife's employer you can write the letter. You need to address it to the relevant consulate, specify your wife's position in the company and, if possible, provide the employment start date, salary and the planned trip dates.
The letter must not be older than 28 days at the time of the visa application; it must have the original (not scanned) signature and your company's full details.
