Extend leave: main applicant same-day, dependents by post?

Hello,

Our family (one main applicant, 3 dependents) needs to extend our leave, applying from within the UK for Tier 1 ET. This can take up to 8 weeks by postal application.

The main applicant needs his passport back sooner than the 8 weeks. Can he visit a premium service centre, get a decision on the same day, and then afterwards the 3 dependents submit their own applications online or by post? (The dependents don't need their own passports during the 8 weeks.) If so, does the main applicant's original passport need to be sent in along with the dependents' postal applications? (He will need his passport during the 8 weeks while the dependents are waiting for their applications to be processed.)

There is no same day service for T1-Ent application.

If you check HO office website, they dont offer this service for this category.

All have to apply before the main applicant's passport expires and via POST ONLY as Tier 1E applicants cannot use premium service
