Employment letter wording spouse visa

Post by Saffy28 » Tue Dec 20, 2016 9:29 pm

Hey i have a question regarding employment letter for spouse visa.
I am applying under catogory B with 2 current jobs. My main job is a salaried employment £1498 /month (17,998/annum) but in the first 2 month sep&oct £90 was deducted for pension which is not taxable leaving the Gross salary showing in payslip as £1409 under basic pay £1498. I have opted out of their pension scheme so November & December payslip show £1498 gross pay. What should the employment letter say ? Can it include "since started paid at rate of 1498 gross month , or leave the "since started " and just say employer paid £1498 gross month and £17,998/annum ?

Thanks

Regardless of whether you pay or opt out pension scheme your employer must indicate your actual total gross salary, only net wages can cut down after pension reduction but gross salary must be shown before deductions such as income tax, nicontribution, pension etc.
The opinion expressed as above is neither a professional advice nor contesting/competing to other member's opinion/advice.
