ILR Salary requirement if job on SOC

Hello,

I am currently on a Tier 2 General Visa. I am eligible for ILR on 22nd Apr 2018. I could apply 28 days prior to this which would be end of March 2018.

Current job role: Quality Control Engineer
SOC Code: 2461
Annual Pay: 32000

I have the following Questions:

1.I know that the ILR salary requirement for application on or after 06th April 2018 would be 35,500 or 35,000 if i applied before 06th April 2018. As my current job is on the SOC, is it necessary for me to meet this salary threshold or will my current pay of 32000 suffice?

2. Total number of days outside the UK, is it 180 days for the whole 5 year period?

1. You need to meet the £35,000pa salary requirement if applying before 6th April 2018.

Salary Threshold Date new threshold commences
£35,000 6th April 2016
£35,500 6th April 2018

2. It is 180 days per 12 month cycle (depending on your ILR application date and counting backwards)
