Supporting documents

Post by cordelia » Tue Mar 07, 2017 7:41 pm

Quick question about supporting documents...

I applied last week via NCS/JCAP; went to the appointment with literally tonnes of documents covering my nearly 13 years' employment in the UK (including NI records, SA302, communications with HMRC, etc.), as per page 7 of the AN Guide (#1.48-1.50) and told the person who dealt with my application that I had been self-employed for nearly 2 years, 8 years ago. However this officer said only the last 5/6 years were needed and only took copies of the P60s for the last 6 years and the payslips issued since my DCPR application.

I have everything (P45, P60s, SA and complete Tax Returns, etc.) at hand, in case they ask for more documents but I am a bit confused (and worried) as to why the person at NCS was adamant only the last 5/6 years were needed.

What is your experience?

If HO require more info, they will write to you. If you completed the form listing all your employment, then it should not be an issue.

Thanks, CR001.
I just do not understand why the officer was so insistent in just sending a few documents, covering the last qualifying years; I would have sent everything!

Don't stress though, HO will ask for information if they require it.
