Previous Earning Confusion

Post by abhisheksrivastava » Tue Jan 22, 2008 5:15 pm

Hi, I am on deputation to UK for past 20 months.I am getting the Indian salary and allowance in UK.The allowance in UK is just for living expense and that cannot be considered as a salary as we do not pay for the income tax and NI. Will my Indian salary slip be a source or earning in spite of me staying in UK for the past 20 months. Will they consider my case for HSMP as I am living in Uk and showing the salary in India.PLease advice and as far as points are concerned I fulfil points if Indian salary is taken into account.
Thanks a lot,
Abhi

Hiya,

Since you have been living in the UK for the previous 12 months, if you apply now/today/one of these days, you will be adjudged as per Country Band A (UK) requirements.

Simply add up the Gross Earnings of the (India) salary slips and match it to the levels specified for Band A to determine the points earned by you under "Previous Income".

Cheers.
