ear All,

I have applied for FLR(O) visa for my mother for leave to remain in the UK, initially it was refused and we appealed it on the court and court allow the appeal after the hearing on 09/01/2017. Still I haven't received any information from home office yet. Is there any issues? what visa my mother will get (I mean if any changes home office will make on my visa period ? Please kindly let me know. Your help on this highly appreciated.

The appeal allowed under article 8 of the ECHR , my mother came through Visit visa , and before its expires I apply indefinite leave via FLR(0) ,The reasons I mentioned the following,
1) My wife had a severe illness, I don't have any one to support me in UK
2) I am a only child in my family
3) My father passed way long time ago , and there is no one to support my mother in Sri Lanka.

If the appeal was allowed (that's a good news) home office will write to you in few weeks time.

Hi All, Good news, my mother received her visa today (got a call from solicitor's office), going to collect it tomorrow afternoon. Solicitor told me HO issued 2 1/2 years visa to my mother via Private life route, but he didn't explain to me clearly. Could you please someone kindly explain to me, your help on this highly appreciated. Thanks once again !

Likely FLR(FP) 10 year route, which means 4 X 2.5 year visas before she will qualify for ILR.
