Applying for ROR after divorce

Post by RORnewbee » Mon Apr 10, 2017 10:07 pm

I have few questions regarding ROR application
My Ex does not sign the sponsor declaration. Will this be an issue?
I do not have the details of the benifits she claims now. I know she claims child benifits, child tax and working tax as she is working full time. Will that affect my application?

if she is working full time and earning more than PTE which is around 8000 to 9000 per year you should be fine. focus on collecting the evidence of her from the date of marriage till divorce. you will need it for pr

Yes you are ok with 21k if you can prove with the original documents.

Good luck and all the best

Yes. I have my pay slips starting jan 2017 and i also have my pay slips here and there from 2011. I'm here since 2008 but unfortunately my partner was in study for first few years and we missed the comprehensive cover so my pr clock started again in 2013. And now we ended up in divorce with 2 kids. Life is too complicated.

Docs i have from here:
P60s for 2012-2013, 14, 15 and 2016 tax ( i will not get the 2016 to 2017 as relationship is not soo good except dropping and picking kids)
Pay slips until nov 2016 (after that she stopped giving her financial information )
Employer letter dated 10th feb 2017
Council tax receipts untill 2016 august (i came out of the house in sept)
Copy of her passport ( not sure if she is changing due to divorce and surname )
Old EEA resident card issued to her
But home office has verified her passport in 2008 and 2014 when i applied for EEA family member resident card. So i hope the copies will be enought.

My plan is to apply for ROR now and then PR in next year. Do you think i have sufficient documents.

I think you are going to be fine, remeber for ROR you dont need her PASSPORT and neither during PR after ROR.

All the best and hopefully the gurus in here can also give you the green light that your case looks good
