Question about documents

Post by cblpah » Wed Apr 12, 2017 1:47 pm

Hi everyone, I am a naturalized US citizen applying for the fiancee visa (Apply to Join Family in the UK). Do you think I should include my naturalization certificate along with my passport? (on the certificate it says that any copy of the certificate- notarized or certified, is not official). Thank you for your time!

Hi,

The UK visa form asks whether the applicant had any previous nationalities so i think you should include the certificate (better safe than sorry!)

No, it is not necessary. You will submit your US passport which is evidence of your citizenship.
