ILR applying in person

Post by Cshae » Sun Jan 27, 2008 11:40 am

Good morning,

I'm hoping someone may be able to assist me.

I have made my appointment to apply for my ILR. Has anyone been through this process and could provide me with some advice / assistance as to what to expect?

Is it necessary for my partner to also attend the appointment with me, when I made the appointment they advised this was not necessary but I am concerned that this may not look too good as we may not be showing a united front.

Thanks for your time!
:)

Can you say, on what basis are you applying for your ILR?

It does not really matter if you go on your own , all that matters is you have the 20 documents spread evenly between your spouse and yourself.

Worry not it's not as bad as you might be thinking.

I got my a week ago and i was there on my own.

sujinda, what is your nationality?

And as regards when to apply, can you please post the exact dates ..... date of expiry of current visa, and date of first entering the UK using that visa?
