Spouse visa application

UK born citizen applying for my wife to come over to the UK
Currently she's in Pakistan
Before I put her visa application in, isit worth changing her
Passport to reflect she's married and also her Pakistani National ID Card?

I didn't do this and my application was successful. This is not a requirement; therefore, it can be done later. All that is required for spouse visa application can be found in the link below!

Agree - not necessary to do so and in my experience, doing anything like that in Pakistan without reference, will just frustrate you.
