Tier 2 Dependent documents for out of country application

Post by ShrutiBlue » Wed Apr 19, 2017 11:10 am

Hi guys

I know this has been asked and answered time and again, but my husband is applying for his Tier 2 Dependent visa from the USA where he's working, but he is an Indian national. I wanted to confirm the documents we need to send (last minute panic to double check everything!).

So far he's got:

My passport copy (front and back, does it need to be attested by me? As that would mean printing the copies, me signing them and scanning them again- thus losing on quality)
My BRP copy (same question as above)
Marriage certificate (original)
Photos, Whatsapp logs and skype logs for the past few years
My bank statements showing £630 for the past 3 months
Letter from my employer saying I work there and mentioning my salary
My payslips from the last three months

His original passport
Print of the application
Print of the IHS payment receipt
Biometric receipt (when he gets it)

Other than this, do we need to submit copies of his US visa or employment proof (pay slips or offer letter) to show why he's in the US? I would probably include these to be on the safe side, but thought I'd ask.

Attestation is not required.

Biometric receipt (when he gets it)
Assuming he is adding photographs as well.

Yes, he should submit proof as to why he's applying from US since he's an Indian national.
Visa is a legal proof of his residential status in the US.

Thank you moonlight55! :) Yes, he's sending photographs as well, I forgot to mention those.
