Tier2 General Extension -Dependant Need prove English lang?

Hello Everyone,

I'm on Tier 2 General and my visa is due for renewal. Below are the points which I would need an answer for. All your efforts and time in answering my questions would be highly appreciated.

1.Does Tier 2 General Dependant need to satisfy the English language requirement (UK NARIC Certificate)? Even when the Main applicant has UK Degree.
2.Alternatively, dependant has a letter from the college in India which states that she was taught Bachelors Degree in English on a letter head, can I submit it to satisfy the English language requirement.
3.My Master's Degree was in Science stream and I was able to find a job in IT and moved into IT industry. Will I need to prove my IT skills with any certification?

for initial and extension applications, pbs dependents dont need to satisfy english requirement.
they only need to fulfil the requirement when they are applying for ilr

There is NO rule change for PBS Dependents to meet the English requirement for dependent visas or extensions. English requirement for PBS Dependents is ONLY applicable for ILR.
