Stamp 0 rule changes

Post by NewEuropean » Wed Jun 07, 2017 7:54 pm

Has anyone heard anything concerning proposed changes to the requirements for a long-term visa under Stamp 0? There was a public consultation process last year and INIS published proposed rule changes soon after. However, I have not heard anything else since these proposed rules were published. Stamp 0 permits retirees and other "persons of independent means" to live in Ireland for one-year renewable terms.

The department has been extremely slow with responses to even renewals of stamp 0's

the contact email is not even responding.....
