How long does it take to get a restricted CoS?

Hi

Does any one have any information on how long does it usually take to get a restricted CoS for Tier 2 (General) Visa? My employer just received their Sponsorship License and they are in the process of 'applying' for the CoS with the help of a Solicitor.

Also, what is the procedure to 'apply' for a restricted CoS? Is it something difficult to get?

Any information on this would be helpful.

Note: My employer has already conducted the RMLT.
