ILR in uk - wants to visit europe but what visa

wife is thai national in belfast - UK

she has ILR in UK

i want take her on a camping / self drive holiday via ireland then ferry to france then maybe drive into italy or germany and return same way.

what visa does she need to enter first by car to ireland - france - italy .

Schengen visa.

An ILR only allows her to stay in the UK. It has no impact on travels outside UK, which is based on the passport

ILR is only a UK permanent residence permit. ILR does NOT mean non EU migrants can travel to Ireland or mainland Europe freely
While republic of Ireland is within the common travel area with the UK, Thai nationals must obtain Irish visa before entering Ireland.
For France or the Schengen area in general, she needs to obtain a Schengen visa as advised.
