me and my wife ( both Indians)were both on work permit
we got married last year in India & my wife got her ILR after comming back
& i am planning to change my work permit visa to her dependent visa by filling FLR M form
just wondering that do i need to go to india before applying or can i apply
straight away

can some one help

If she has her ILR you need to apply for a spouse visa. You can do this in India or in-country, if you still have valid leave to remain. You don't need to return home to do it.

Why didn't you change to dependent visa, knowing she was soon to qualify for ILR? Alternatively, if you are to qualify for ILR in less than 2 years, then stick to a WP (or HSMP if you qualify).
