Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

You previously posted that your ILR has been refused.

What is your spouse's nationality?

What is your full UK Immigration history??

Hi CR001 ,

thanks a lots for the answer the HO sent me on Friday the Permanent Residency card .
The reason why I asked this question*when PET law became law and came into force because my solicitor said to me that the PET became law only after the vote for Brexit which is June last year ? True or not please?

another question please : do I have the right to apply straight now for British Citizenship or I should wait one year because I should be granted my ILR a year ago if my solicitor checked well about PET guidance before he send the application ?

Thanks in advance for the help guys ,

Regards

Casa has already provided you the link for 2014 which states when it came into affect.

Citizenship is a completely different set of requirements and PET is not relevant to this.

I am still unclear if you have PR under the EEA/EU route of ILR under the UK immigration route as you have not answered my questions.

If your spouse is NOT British, then you must hold ILR or PR (whichever you have) for 12 months before you can apply for citizenship. Your solicitor giving you wrong advise does not change this.

Then you have PR not ILR.

What is your UK Immigration history as I am struggling to understand what exactly you have applied for (ILR cost roughly £2000 and PR costs £65)??
