Which is better? HSMP without job or south america with job?

Post by kmehta » Wed Feb 13, 2008 7:49 am

hi forum members,
I have got HSMP visa stamped in January 08. My planning is to move UK in march, initially london. I have put up CV in many sites but no interview call yet. Now I got offer of contract job in Argentina, South america for six months. So need some advice.
1) Is it better to go South america with job in hand and then come to UK?
2) Can I enter UK anytime within 2 years of my valid HSMP visa?
3) Is it good to first enter UK and then after few days move to south america to get stamped in UK?
4) My wife has dependent HSMP visa. So after initial stamping in both of our passports, can she come back alone to UK after few months?
5) New rules will affect whenever I enter UK?
I am in telecom field, just to mention.
thanks and hope for advice.[/b]

depends on luck...My question to you is this: Should you pursue the offered job in Argentina and reached the 6mo period, will you be able to extend for another term say 6mos or more?

look ahead man..think of long term goals..and then fulfilling short terms!
Sorry if you dint like this, just my thought!
I have kinda similar nt same situation where m getting an offer from dubai, but is nt sounding feasible in longer term and is contractual position.

regarding job hunt at job websites..they will not entertain you till you are in UK.Dont provide your address of india or any telephone number..they wont even email you looking at address.

your call..
I have my ILR since march 2013, previously based on HSMP+Tier1 ext. All views are my own, am not a professional on immigration matters.
