Late Biometrics

Post by Ahmd_64 » Fri Jul 14, 2017 5:56 pm

Dear Friends,

I applied My Etnension 12/6/2017. Home Office issued biometrics letters (including dependents) on 26 June 2017. My solicitor received biometrics letter and did not tell me. Last Mmonday i asked him then he said yes it has been delivered. He said he has posted but i did not receive yet.
Today he send me scanned copy of Biometrics copies by email. He try with scanned copy if Post Office does not take biometrics then let me know i will reguest new.

My Question: Can i give Biometrics although it has been issued 18 days before? If i can not then what will happen? is there be any serious issue?
I will ask solicitor to request new letter on Monday.
Gurus reply is required with bundle of Thanks.

Thanks.
Kind Regards,

The Post Office won't take biometrics if it has passed the 10 day deadline. You should be given one more chance to submit them once you've received a second letter. .

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.

How many days does the letter say. It is normally 15 working days.

Post office has taken my and my wife biometrics on photo copies of letter. My son barcode was not accepted by scanner.
late has two dates
one: 26/6/2017 and there is another one which is stamp date on top 27/6/2017.
solicitor said Coming Monday is last working date. Anyway two of use have given biometrics. Only Son is remaining. I think we need to request new letter for him.

Thanks.

Hi Friends,

My Son's biometrics has not been done on time because Barcode was not accepting by scanner. I have given with wife. I just want to ask you how long does home office take to send you another biometrics letter as a second chance of it?
First letter was issued 26-6-2017.

Thanks.

Dear Friends,

Today i have received my son biometrics letter at my business address instead of going to my solicitor. It is second biometrics letter. There is also 2 extra letters in same envelop.
Other letters were on my wife and son names.
HO said " normally we process application in 8 weeks but there is biometrics issue in your case and this is going to be long".

We will let you know it it goes further long.
My solicitor did not give me first biometrics letters. He just send me scanned copies in last moment. I took print and gave biometrics with wife. Scanner did not accept my son barcode.

My concern is "Home Office has send letters on my wife and son name that your visa applications are going to be delay but Home Office did not send me letter". I gave biometrics on last working days (15 working day).
Is there be any issue?

Thanks

Hello Ahmed, how did you request for the new biometric letter. Did you call home office for it or send a mail.
Thank you

I dont think there will be any issue, i think they were just annoyed that you exceeded the normal 15 days deadline.

Dear,

I did not request for new Biomatrics letter. They send new one at my company address. First was send to solicitor.
I think it is better option to request new letter by giving HO reference number or Case reference Number by giving explanation why you missed first biomatrics.
If you have given your Home address in visa application. First letter will come Home address. Second can be Business address so make sure you are checking both addresses regularly.

Thanks.
