ILR Credit Card Payment - Need to have physical card?

Post by Mark P » Fri Feb 15, 2008 8:24 pm

Hello,

I wonder if anyone can help with this. I'm planning to make an ILR application which I hope to pay for on my credit card. In the event this fails, I plan to use my fathers card as a backup, with his permission of course. Do I actually need to have the card in my possession and sign for it? If this is the case, I'd basically be committing fraud right in front of an immigration officer. If not, it'd be a good safety net.

Any ideas?

Are you applying in person? If so, then you can only use your own card.

Oh excellent, it's reassuring to know people on these boards find the idea of deportation because of payment failure funny.

Nevermind..
