foreign births registration - unacknowledged

Hi,

I sent my FB registration documents to the Irish Embassy and paid (payment taken) about 3 months ago, but since then I've not heard anything at all, no acknowledgement.

Should I be worried?

The time frame will depend on where you submitted from/to. From the USA the process took about 5 1/2 - 6 months, from the UK it is taking about 7.

You will typically not hear back until you get your certificate unless there is some documentation or clarification that they need.
