APPLYING RC WITH AN EXPIRED EEA FP

Hey you wonderful people

Please advise my wife is yet to apply for her RC but we only have 3 days till the FP expires we are sorting the documents out due to some personal circumstances she could not apply then i have acquired permanent residence this year(i dont have any document to attest to it) would there be a problem if wifey goes on and apply for her RC, i am employed and wifey was given her FP 6 months back to join me in the UK please advise on the best course of action to do?

Whether the FP is expired or not does not matter. Many people applying for RCs never had FPs at all.
