Immigration Health Surcharge IHS Refund

Hi All

I have posted a few times how to get your IHS refund when you have paid twice for the same year I.e when you extend your visa. I recently got my IHS refund and sharing my story to get your easily.

First of all, find your recent approval letter and find your caseworker name and your application ID. Then write down a letter to that caseworker mentioning your previous and current IHS number, your full name, DOB, address and mention the overlap time i.e the time which you think or you actually have paid twice.
Mention your caseworker name outside envelope as well and send it to Tier 2 section of Home office in Sheffield. I got my refund and sorry email in 4 days after posting the letter.
So don't wait as I did for nearly 8 months that they will automatically refund you.
