FLR (HSMP) new rules affecting older HSM's

Post by cptkeane » Thu Feb 21, 2008 3:13 pm

I got my initial HSMP for 2 years (Mar 07 to 09). Under the current - soon to become old - rules, I would have got an extension of 3 years, which would have given me the 5 years required to be eligible for ILR. If however under the new Tier 1 rules extension is only for 2 years, how will that affect me? I would have only 4 years in the UK. I am sure some of you are in a similar situation. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance.
