pls help..schengen visa

hi all

Im a non eea national,have residence in the uk as a step children under 21 of an eea national.if i want to apply for a schengen visa,am i exempt from the visa fees and they say on the website:spouse,children under 21 or and dependant children are exempt from visa fees and just need to provide evidence of relationship,eea passport,photo and thats it.so am i under this category as well.pls help plssssss
