French EU family member card

Hi folks,

My sister (she is married to French national) live in France, she wants to visit me in Ireland, Under EU law, she does not need irish visa if she has EUfamily card. My question is, does France issue EUfamily member card, and is it different to carte de sejour (10 year residence card in France)??

Any help much appreciated....

Hey,

French authority will not issue Eu Family member card to your sister because your sister married to a French national so they will issue a Resident Card Called Private Family under French Local Law
