Hi

I am planning to apply for EC for me only initially. I will be applying for my wife later on.

Do I still need marriage certificate????

Hi,
you have to produce the marriage certificate even though you apply for ec only for you

Hi

Have you seen anyone getting rejected in such case, if marriage certificate is not produced. You you pelase point me some any archive/example.

Just want to make it sure whether it is just a precaution or absolute must.

If its must, I need to travel my native and arrange marriage certificate.

Hi,
go through the current vaf2 form in the declaration page,you will find the mandatory checklist,you will find that it is required.-vivekrb

VAF2 checklist mentions marriage certificate.

But that checklist is very generic. Hopefully it written assuming that, if you are married you will be applying visa for your dependents as well.

hi..

i got approval on 14th feb..

i will apply for EC in start of april..
can you guide me how much liquid fund is required to show for EC?
i have around (INR) 1 lac cash and some 2 lacs of shares in my demat account.. is that enough for EC ? this equivalent to 3900 GBP

can i show a joint FD with my distant relative??

please guide me as i m little confused?

can you tell me on what guideline an EC officer work? any rough idea?
