Tier 4 extension

Post by cjv501 » Tue Sep 12, 2017 11:05 pm

Hi, i would like to know about tier 4 visa extension. I am studying phd at the moment and I would like to extend my study for another one year. I have already spent 7 years in uk on student visa so i would like to know that can i extend one more year for my research? 8 years cap apply on me? Please let me know. Please check my study durations below :
I have studied Bsc computing from September 2010 to June 2012,after that Msc from September 2012 to September 2013, and PhD will finish from January 2014 to January 2018. I want to get one more year extension if 8 years cap won't apply on me. Please let me know.

Thanks,

Ronak

No, unless you have already completed one of the postgraduate research qualifications listed in annex 4 of the Tier 4 Policy Guidance (page 91):

I have explained that the cap does not apply. Given your ongoing concern and confusion, I strongly suggest you get advice from your Tier 4 sponsor.

It is something I can't discuss on open forum. CR or other admin can view that messages. It is regarding my own case.

There is a reason your PM privilege was disabled and it will remain that way. If you need advice regarding your case, you will need to post it on the forum publicly.

I also do not offer advice on PM, as my signature clearly states. The 'admin' also does not post advice or respond to PMs.

Kindly also refrain from tagging onto other members topics with non related issues.

Sorry no. Sah has already said he/she does not offer or give advice on PM and you will find that the majority of senior members and moderators do not either.

The only reason people don't want to post in public is if they have done something wrong, false or illegal in their applications, which I hope is not the case with you.

Kindly refrain from further posting in this OPs topic, it is unfair to the OP that you have hijacked his topic for a completely off topic posting.

Your university issues the CAS. They will know how long it is valid. If they don't, you should complain!
