EC funds

Post by kiladik » Tue Feb 26, 2008 5:49 pm

Hi,

Iam planning to apply for EC along with one dependent.

I have 2 lacs in savings a/c, 2 lacs in mutualfunds(including tax saving funds) and 1 lac pension funds. Also Iam planning to take 2 lacs loan if required. Does this suffice for applying EC.

Mutual funds includes tax saving funds also and my pension plan (ICICI) is also for tax saving under 80C. Do they come under liquid funds?

Best Regards
KK

Hi,
If u can explicitly explain the source of these funds, this amount is more than enough for 2 people. There is no need to take a furhter loan.
Immigration law is mystery and a mastery in obfuscation, and the lawyers who can figure that out are worth their weight in gold.
