Just saw the below update on the INIS website this morning. So we will have to wait until next week for the list of attendees and for the invites.

The next day of citizenship ceremonies will be held on Monday 16 October 2017.
The full list of attendees will be finalised at the end of September. If you are invited, you will receive your invitation then.
The list of attendees will also be published on this website 10 days before the event.
We cannot answer questions about attendance before then, as the list is not ready.

Hello, I have just joined this, and have never posted before. I recently got the letter telling me that the minister has proposed to offer me citizenship but first I must send in photos and fee, this after a year and 1/2 of waiting. I did that last week. Now I am so nervous because I really want to be included in the next ceremony. But, I did not get the things to them within the 10 days that the letter requested. The letter was dated August 31, but was postmarked September 7 and I did not get it until the 9th, and then I had to arrange to get the things needed, so they would have got it around September 20th. So, I do not have an invitation yet but I am praying that I will. Does anyone know what happens if you miss the 10 day deadline on sending the last items required? If you miss the one, will the next ceremony come soon after?

Hi walting4tcz,

It is always important to stick to an instruction. Having said that, this was not by your own doing. As you already said, you didn't get the letter on time. I just hope that you included a cover note that explained this, when you sent the requirements.

Meanwhile, I think as long as they receive your package on time, you should be included in this ceremony. I myself, I received my approval on the 21/09 and had same 10 days to send the stuff and I did so on the 25th, and I expect to be included in this ceremony.

You have nothing to worry about mate!

Are many people still waiting on the invitations to the 16th Oct Ceremony ?

I got my approval 3 weeks ago , saying I need to send 2 photos and fee withing 10 days in order to be included in the next ceremony, I did send those on the next day by registered post ( they got delivered ) , but I didnt get invitation yet.

Hi,

I got my invitation to the October 16th ceremony! I am instructed to arrive for 13:40 at the Dublin Convention Center. I received my approval letter on September 9th, and had everything to them by September 20th.
